I'm using the Logitech K830. I don't have many issues with the trackpad on that model. It's not great, like your average Windows laptop's trackpad, but I nowhere near throwing it out cause it's so bad.

For that you need to shell out even more for an EV Cert. If you just have a regular cert, people are still warned when running your app.

Doesn't that just reiterate my point? "While there are still rough edges" == "I cannot reliably use windows with any sort of scaling" Take QGIS for example. It doesn't properly scale. On Windows you get an mini

Why was this downvoted? This paragraph was one of the worst in the article. > Since Windows never had the font rendering problems that Apple did Uhm I cannot reliably use windows with any sort of scaling. It's not as bad as linux, b

Agreed. Modality isn't bad. The author's concerns about them can be boiled down to "make sure your login form has a URL".

Webview seems interesting. Go/C++ to do native stuff and use the systems web view to render the interface. Seems like the best of both worlds.

Yep looks like it affects `scrollTo()` and `scrollIntoView()`, along with in-page navigation. Crazy how they don't let you use a curve to define your own timing.

Sure it's not an issue with whatever is doing that (hacky) dark mode CSS? Looking at the google example, they are setting the font color. It just doesn't look good when dark-mode CSS doesn't take the existing colors into acco

Are you sure those aren't the upcoming changes? There's another older screenshot further down that has more ambiguous wording. Edit: welp, even that says it 100% goes to the person doing the shopping. Gross.

One of my favorite things about typescript was being able to ditch Babel and eslint and their myriad of requirements to get things that are considered standard. I get why they do it, it's just something I prefer. Take create-react-app

Couldn't you use `ExtractReturn` with a reference to the action creator when handing the actions in your reducers? I've done it in typescript and it makes things much more pleasant.

Oh we still went out trick-or-treating. We weren't allowed to pig out on candy afterwards, just a few pieces a day. When we did start giving out candy it was still your average small chocolate bars, not granola or anything.

My mother was the same. Any treat she made had half sugar half salt, no cereal if sugar was in the first 3 ingredients, and would rarely buy candy. I went on to work in a bulk candy store, and usually have some bag of candy nearby.
