I often think about WASTE I reflect on why filesharing never decentralized. Bittorrent needed trackers and we're still in the slsk era and still sharing on the mercy of the four letter organizations.

There's a lot of talk about HDR and Chrome here. I'm interested in neither but me and other professionals (in photography and graphic design) that do color critical work need to be able to create color profiles with spectrophotome

KDE Plasma made getting back to desktop Linux after 15 years of macOS an easy task. Despite GNOME often being described as closer to macOS and Plasma closer to Windows I've found that no DE comes close to the configurability and polish

If you want to try this you have to change the way you work with shutter speeds (and ND-filters) or else you will get horrible results. See: https://docs.gyroflow.xyz/app/getting-started/common-filming...

Too bad Sony has crippled Catalyst Browse so badly. It doesn't even do 10-bit exports, so I refuse to use it with my A7S III. For proper formats and 10-bit export you need Catalyst Prepare which is (surprise) a subscription based softw

I can recommend the Clickbait Remover add-on: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/clickbait-rem... It just replaces the thumbnails and works quite well without the crowdasourcing effort.
