I've been very surprised so far by how little memory and how performant this terminal is even though it's written in JavaScript and runs on electron. All the other electron apps I know of are kind of known to be performance hogs (

Have you looked at GoG Galaxy? https://www.gog.com/galaxy It's exactly what you want, but this service isn't poplar. It doesn't work because everyone is on Steam. Network effects. It's like when app.net

I migrated away from Google years ago after a similar incident. I use Fastmail for email. It's decent enough. I am happy to pay for services. I still use Google's search, calendar, browser and location services and Google Play for

In this comment thread there are many people who did not read the entire article to its conclusion, and then also failed to read the many comments about the very last and very important bit at the end of the article. There ought to be like

You're achieving that with separate calls to render. In an ideal React application you only have a single render call. So no, you're not demonstrating a good use of React and you're certainly not showing this to be a strength

I don't have much experience with Ember, but I have a spent a lot of professional time with React development, well over a year now. Initially I quite loved it but that love affair is over. My problem with React aren't complaints

I thought web assembly compiled to JavaScript, but it doesn't look like that's so. It looks like a binary format. I think that's great if so. Finally we can expand beyond JavaScript on front-end development.

I personally don't care what you consider to be an engineer. I solve engineering problems, and I solve them well and I get compensated for it. I want to create great physics systems in game engines. It's not my problem to solve to
