Between 2019 and 2022 Mazda improved the truly atrocious latency linked to screen operations. All operations are physical, but you still need menus to find what you want. The latency was quite impressive. The 2022 has less latency and seem

Hawks and owls require multi-year effort in Falconry licensing (at least in the US). First 2 years under a sponsor--you can get a very specific hawk or falcon (which hawk or falcon is geographically dependent) After 2 years & sponsor ap

Who is the user? Who is the site for? How does the design relate to the user and to the problem to be solved?

Listening is an underrated skill. We all place our attention (and thus the direction of problem solving) onto differing aspects of a situation. It takes a while to actually listen, learn those attentional perspectives, and get groups to hol

You need to make it absurdly easy and in-flow. Otherwise you are stuck sending emails to users asking for feedback, and the return on those in my experience is below 4%. If what you want is to have a lengthier conversation please remember t

Hotdogs and drinks are probably a loss leader for Costco. What Apple product would you suggest they sell below cost as an enticement to people to make other Apple purchases?

Question for the folks who switched to induction, from someone in the initial process of thinking about it: 1. what is the plan for when there is no power (I live in an area currently prone to seasonal brownouts/blackouts) and 2. what

I wonder (aloud) how much of one bag ethos is linked to being a man. Culturally (my experience is US/EU/Latam) women are expected to change clothes often. And in some countries that also means changing belts and shoes. If travelin

This seems cultural for sure. I grew up in an apartment built in early 1970s with separate kitchen. To this day most apartments in my country are planned w/o open kitchens. It is actually an ongoing joke with my partner, who has lived

Correction: most of South America. Brazil was a Portuguese colony thanks to the Treaty of Tordesilhas from 1494 and therefore speaks Portuguese, not Spanish. (Brazilian gold ended up in England, helping fuel the industrial revolution)

Hi there! I saw the free tips; does the full book use an added way besides the red/green bars to denote "do not do this" and "do this"? Red/green with no other iconography are confusing for color-blind people.

There are many comments along the lines of "curated search, yes, please, so much". Right now search is "free" (user is the product). How much would you be willing to pay for a non-ad-driven, curated search site?

Wow, this relies on both books being in the same orientation, with front cover to the right. It assumes a lot. For perspective, I for years kept books shelved upside down because that orientation was easier for me when reading spines.
