The most fascinating thing about this article for me was the copyright notice at the bottom of the page consisting primarily of asterisks and hash marks. Can anyone explain this to me?

Sure, and I suppose you could decree yourself ruler of the world, too. Reality, however, is another matter entirely. France will not win a legal battle over this outside of France.

Sounds more like France has been acting in bad faith. You can't just decree a seizure of a domain because you're a political entity that wants it.

I've done it many times. It's attractive if the offer is attractive. Last one I took was a $20k raise over the prior job. The one before that was a $30k raise. It's only risky if you're not confident in your skills.

There's such a thing as contract-to-hire for this exact scenario. Why did the industry seem to forget this?

vim's feature-set is not just large -- it's vast. After 11+ years using it, I doubt I'm familiar with 1%. There is no emulator that has that completeness. Most scarcely implement the beginner commands.

I've been married twice. I am perfectly aware of the implications of marriage and that's why I won't engage in it again. And you're right: This isn't the place for relationship advice, nor was I asking for any.

Being practical hardly constitutes a "trust issue". It's as if none of the people criticizing me have a concept of relationships grounded in reality. It wasn't the topic and I shouldn't have to defend my relations

Not for an initial resume that was never responded-to. If we've never spoken before then it's really not necessary to send me a form-rejection. I'm not holding my breath.

I have no problem being ghosted. The thing that really pisses me off, though, is receiving a rejection letter six weeks after the fact. I got one today. It's okay: I got the message. I'm already gainfully employed elsewhere. Y

I make a quarter million dollars. No, that money certainly won't be going to my kids. It's utterly ridiculous to pay that amount of money for child support for one child. This is essentially incentivizing my partner to break up

I wonder if the poor are having more children because they feel like they have less to lose? I desperately want to have kids and my girlfriend is on board, but she makes next to nothing and I make quite a lot of money. I tried an online ca
