Yeah, you are totally right, the time factor of losing in MOBAs (I persoanlly played a lot of LoL in the past, and tried some DotA and HotS) pretty much defies my argument in that regard. But when I compare that to losing in Civ (not RTS,

I think one big reasons why RTS are having trouble is, that loosing in an RTS, as a new player, can be one of the worst experiences in gaming (not counting player toxicity): you just spend several minutes, maybe a lot of them, playing this

Not sure if this was "added in translation" or if Reuters dropped it, but according to the german "Tagesschau" (source would be the DPA) the deal would be to have a new evaluation round between Space X and Blue Origin, n

Exactly. Disagreement, even a stronge disagreement with peoples opinions or actions does not require or even permit personal attacks. I do like changes done to audcity, but I dislike calling people "scumbags" or stuff like that.

Would you mind sharing the compiler versions and flags used? I tried to look at it in godbolt, but gcc 10.2 -O and clang 11.0 -O look pretty much the same. On the other hand, I know pretty little about C and its compilers ;)

Interesting: the german version (and other non-english versions, if I parse that correct) of the page still mentions rounding up to 100ms while the english version to 1ms. Cache? Not yet translated? Different pricing model?
