A lot of these are redacted and appear to be FOIA or similar requests that have been fulfilled.

Did you look at the link? It's not NYC landlords; it's a list that's scraped from court proceedings and sold to tenant screening companies.

Quick explanation: Fines are the very small coffee particles created by the grinding or crushing of the bean. They are generally undesirable as for even extraction of the coffee you want uniformly sized coffee particles. Fines also tend to

I agree with this and your other comment and would add that the distortion of the market caused by medallions is exactly why the market is crashing as hard as it is, and also why Uber and Lyft are so popular - there's pent up demand fo

I actually work in SF now at a very family friendly company (Tapjoy). That is probably because 1/2 the engineering team is located in Boston.

I took PTO for it. It's not like I walked out for no reason. Also, we were working 60+ hour weeks.

Dental hygenists also only work 3-4 days a week. I'm told this is just the way the job works (usually they are 3 days at one office and 1 day at another if they desire). There's also the wear and tear on your body from crouching o

I'm a developer in SF, and I moved here 2 1/2 years ago on a relocation package from a startup. Immediately I realized that I would be the only parent in the office (there was one other remote worker with kids) once my wife and I

Couldn't agree with this more; especially: >So echoing that scaling issue into your test documentation is a huge mistake. and > QA has a crappy reputation because it's slow, ponderous, and often not very effective. Maybe par

Definitely not necessary to pay to play these games. Makes it easier, sure, but they don't have timers or super high difficulty spikes to overcome, except maybe the last level.

Worth mentioning that Saucelabs takes security very seriously. If anything in this email is true (I can't speak to it at all), then I wouldn't use BrowserStack for testing anything connected to my systems. Sauce, on the otherhand,

Sorry, but I don't think the conference organizers overreacted. They did exactly what they were supposed to do under the CoC - they received a complaint, and addressed it discreetly. If they hadn't taken it seriously, and just said 'cool it

I placed my order, heard nothing for 4 months, then all of the sudden got a shipping notice and it showed up two days later. All I know is they're shipping them as fast as they get them. If it's been a while, why not drop their customer ser

I wish that all project managers knew how to write code. In my experience this is not the case. None of the time that I spent managing software projects was while I knew how to code. That's about 1 year doing vendor evaluation for a non-p

Hmm, I really hope it doesn't go away. It's the best part of the job. I have seen a number of my peers still doing this after many years, and still experiencing the same thing.
