Joke aside, I'd like to know how much of their revenue is from accessories. I'm sure it'll be a tiny percentage, but even 1% would be a massive amount of money. And we all know the margin is way bigger than in any other hardw

Yeah, I thought the same thing (specially since 95% of the time I'm using my laptop, I actually have it closed, hooked up to a screen and with external keyboard and mouse). But I guess this will be useful for most casual users, since t

Quick question about your /blog page: it's more of a /timeline with some milestones + blog posts on it, rather than a blog, right? Is it custom more or is it made with some Wordpress plugin? And third question: you have $450

Well, there could be a niche, upscale market for getting from SF to LA in 30 minutes, like people going for meetings and coming back on the same day. Other modes of transportation takes just too long for that kind of use case. I don't

Well, there's iTunes (a PPV service, of course). I'd like to know how big of a catalog iTunes have in terms of % of the 1,000 most popular movies they have.

To be honest, I don't think startup employees (and by startups I don't mean Dropbox, I mean companies who have to count the cash they spend) are low paid. Obviously a startup can't pay like a company with tons of cash can. In

I'm not sure I quite get what you mean by "issuing early employees restricted stock awards". Can you elaborate? Is this like an IOU for restricted stock? Isn't that kind of like what stock options are (except for common

I'm in the same situation, and I haven't found any marketplace save for Feinternational where you'd be able to buy something like that. Either you can buy SaaS with million+ run rates (which of course cost a lot), or you find

I totally agree. Being a developer is one of the best careers you can have right now. Well paid and high in demand everywhere in the world, very little "soul crushing" (and can even be very fulfilling) compared to most jobs and yo

Well it depends the nature of the project you're starting from scratch. If it's a new project at your employer, there could be factors like "how easy would be to hire / train people to work on this project in the future?

Reminds me of the whole "Just run this cURL request and a payment is made, it's that easy." messaging that Stripe used to have right at the top of their landing page in the beginning, showcasing not only how easy their paymen

Probably, yes. They're buying SolarCity with Tesla stock and paying a 20% or so premium over current SC stock. But yeah, if your friends bought say when SC was 50% up, then now they'll have to wait/hope Tesla stock goes up.
