No, not laptops. I do run a few hackintosh desktops though. Macbooks are still the best (unless you are a heavy gamer). Over the years of having used a variety of machines, I haven't found anything close. Build/Reliability: Probab

I haven't looked into it yet, but I'm curious about using utilizing my Teslas in case of emergency for power. With 75kwh+ each (leased so no concern about cycles) I don't think I'd need a powerwall at home.

We're talking about a system for people trying to cheat card games. It's not novel or technically sophisticated. This would never work in a casino/card room. The people who buy this would do so with the intention of scamming

I meant "on the table" as in on the felt. That's generally the rule I've seen at nicer cardrooms. But yes I agree nothing like this would ever work in a casino.

I'd say they are more lax now with using your phone, but I doubt they would let you set your phone ON the actual table next to the cards during a hand.

This is pretty silly. No casinos or card rooms let you have a phone/device at the table. That aside, you need to have a special marked deck. People have tried something similar with flourescent ink and special glasses. I think professi

I used to complement my MacBook with a hackintosh. I now have a beefy xeon server running esxi. This lets me run windows/mac/and primarily linux. I'd still consider my MacBook my main machine even though my storage and faster

Effectively they are paying even less if you consider taxes (which go back to the federal government). Maybe a clever tax scheme can incentivize it.

My initial reaction was to question their growing levels of vertical integration, but their volume is so huge that they will probably rival UPS/Fedex if you included all of Amazons shipments across carriers. It would cost Amazon 40-50b

ATT leases space since they built out more recently. Comcast I have no idea, it was probably built out long ago and they have some agreement. I did find an interesting case of a HOA that is doing their own fiber via Paxio in Milpitas. I wi

I've considered trying to get fiber for gigabit+ wired in my subdivision here in the Bay Area (with HOA approval). We have fiber coming up to the main road and have been wired for ATT/Comcast for a long time. Since we already have
