In the meantime I have like 6 messaging clients, 5 car park apps and 7 covid-restaurant-tracking apps on my phone. Remembering which contact is in which app is a pain. Now explain that to your non-tech friends.

Apple opening up iMessage, running it cross platform and maybe through some independent company would put an end on this discussion. There won't be money in it for them. But it would even further improve their privacy-first market(ing)

Personal take after quite a few years of experience: ORMs are great for quick and easy prototyping. But in no way I would ever use another ORM in any application again. Simple helpers like Dapper (C#/.NET) are fine. But nothing more th

Have a look at FMDB: https://github.com/ccgus/fmdb/ I don't know or use it personally. But the developer behind it is very experienced and sells the nice, tried and true image editor Acorn here. https:&#

Note that performance could be an issue with the Air, as it will throttle the CPU to prevent too much head. The MBP has much more thermal leg room. That said, the Air indeed is a great machine and I too prefer the function keys to Touch ID.

I think I had a burnout at home. It was just too much: 90% to 100% job, 3 kids, house, and the constant feel of (self?) pressure to make it all better, always be prepared and such at home. My wife and me separated almost a year ago, an
