Do we really need to steal music from artists? Spotify and Apple Music is already cheap enough. Not to mention the convenience of not wasting my time managing illegally downloaded music. People really have time for this in 2022?

We need autonomous vehicles based on open/public software. That’s the only way.

They didn’t force him out and they basically asked him to come back even as a part time CEO when NO ONE wanted the job. Jack is Jack. He is not perfect but let’s not be unfair to him. Reviving Twitter is not possible without replacing the b

Anyone notice GPUs magically started to appear for sale right around the time Russian sanctions went into effect? I wonder why…

Elon Musk absolutely does not care about free speech. He’s no history of ever standing up for it. He doesn’t even understand what it means. The fight over Twitter is about control. Control of narratives. And the price to do that right now,

No, it’s a bit more complicated than that because the comments are threaded. It could take a few passing to find a gem comment. Also, the comments evolve over time meaning you might not find anything at the time of your browsing.

This is awesome. While, comments are generally lacking in info (but still entertaining) there are always gems in there. It’s a bit like needle-in-haystack. I think there’s even a subreddit dedicated for this. I’d love to see ML/DL depl

Twitter is literally the news breaking platform across the world. How much do you think that’s worth? I think it’s worth more than $100B under competent management.

He actually dismissed Twitter’s management so I am guessing they’re slated to be demoted or fired if he takes over. Should they sell? I mean it’s such a bizarrely undervalued company. It’s like buying a plot of land on fifth avenue that’s o

And how many percentage of people suffering from depression do you think have this physical brain imbalance ONLY? Doctors prescribing depression drugs do not care nor do they have the tools to make such a diagnosis.

I believe depression is not something you can resolve with drugs. Sure, it helps to numb it all away.

I hate the fact that hiring now basically requires cloud experience specific to vendors. This is basically going to force people into one of the three major cloud platforms.

Frankly, ageism in tech is real. They rather hire some younger guy without personal commitments (aka family). Sure, it’s changed in the past decade but I see it playing out all the time. Once you hit 40s and you have domain knowledge (and b

Not quite. There’s a good reason why efficacy falls off sharply after just 2-3 weeks. Again, it’s a “vaccine” not a vaccine. They just call it that because they want the public to buy-in. I say this as someone who’s been in biotech for a de

Maybe they know something we don’t. Edit: there’s not a lot being talked about in terms of multiple infections over time. It’s not that the MRNA vaccines are effective it’s that the West pivoted to an entirely different public health policy
