In 10 years, I’d imagine you can create an all digital movie or a game within days. Simply by typing a few descriptive words.

It is a lot because the platform is now so expansive. I mainly use it for my AI/DL projects and it took me about 6 months to get up to speed. There are many Youtube tutorials. It helps if you know how to use Blender and other DCC tools

If Epic were public, I’d park all of my retirement funds in there. I’ve watched this UE5 development and actively developed in it as a non-gaming dev! They’re thinking 5-10 years ahead.

You do realize they’re not even considering this options right? This is just some nobody contemplating. And even if they did, it will just be another price tier same as competition.

No it’s not. Streaming tech is leaps and bounds better than pirating. Same goes for music services.

I am so tired of these comments about Netflix: “I am going to cancel if Netflix splits disc from streaming.” “I am going to cancel if Netflix raises prices.” “I am going to cancel if Netflix makes it difficult to share passwords.” “I am goi

I think all of Wall Street sees that TWTR is sitting on a goldmine. They were just grossly mismanaged for decade plus.

That’s very fair. Most people, regardless of age, would listen to Elon Musk especially in SV. I actually like Parag so it wasn’t meant as a knock on him.

He can buy enough to influence Twitter management. If he can accrue roughly 20%, I imagine he can easily influence their 30-something CEO. At the same time, Twitter will become another meme stock for the r/wsb crowd. Elon will exit at

My point was really that he’s only about himself. I am not a proponent of crypto but even with crypto he’s literally only about what he has and nothing else. So in effect he’s not _really_ about crypto and what it stands for.

Jack doesn’t strike me as a person who participated in the early stages of the internet AT ALL. Largely because we used our ACTUAL NAMES back then.

I don’t actually think visual coding is all that great (and this is coming from someone with significant node experience in Houdini) but I always appreciate reading a code base that has VISUAL representation before I dive in. I am hoping so

Spreadsheet program with one-click data frame conversion is basically Colab + Sheets. Not sure why Google isn’t putting resources to flesh out this feature. Between Sheets, Colab/Kaggle, and Google Maps, Google should be dominating the

Might have to do with the fact that front end space is inundated with “frameworks” and superfluous versioning. At the same time why bother sticking with a framework that’s going to be outdated in two years because the development team moved

I agree with this comment. Not all problems can be solved this way. Sometimes I need to sit down and think without constant interactions. Interactions are great but they have bandwidth limitations for the most part.

Oddly enough Harvard MBA along with Stanford are the only two worth getting in 2022. And that’s only due to school network not the actual education. It’s really the y-combinator effect at a corporate level.
