You can use home assistant and HomeKit together pretty seamlessly. We have all our lighting automation as a zwave network though hass, and the lights are also included in HomeKit. We can use Siri or hass app or the native home app/wid

No time spent in the past is wasted, it’s what got you here. If you’ve been at the same job for a while, switch it up. I was at a company for over 6 years and I felt a lot of what you’re saying. I’m at a new company, and my wife and I sold

The phrase you’re focusing on is taken out of the larger context, which was estimating the lower possible bound of expenditure on staffing. Bottom of the barrel means the lowest quality / cheapest of a given option, which in this case

What are your ethical issues with Apple? Why mention them in the first place without further explication? Your other points rang true for me but this seems a little tangential.

I am genuinely confused by this phrasing. Are you saying that there are many situations where children and adults are receiving menus for food but are not “eating out”?

Are you speaking from experience? If so, do you feel on balance that having a child was positive in your life despite the inability to focus on deep tasks? Does this get better with age?

If you haven’t heard about cdktf, check it out! It lets you do infrastructure as code but in full programming languages like Python, C# and TypeScript. It’s by hashicorp, and under the covers it runs Terraform, so you have the whole set of

Universal health care in itself is a driver for regulating costs if it’s implemented as single payer. The idea is there is a monopoly on supply of patients, so if you want to practice, you have to accept the billing rate the payer (govt) de

One minor note in case others aren't aware - the M1 to M1 Pro is surely a big improvement, but the base 14" does not have the same M1 Pro as the base 16" - it has a lower-binned version of the M1 Pro that only has 8 cores ins

This would be great to see with dithering and the checkbox indeterminate state. Should make it look a lot better. I think there was a post about temporally stable dithering for use in video games recently.
