I’m at a new company, and my wife and I sold our house and moved across the country too. Saying my life is better now is the understatement of a century. It’s not too late to live the life you want. Just stop pushing people away. Stop doing the things you don’t want to be doing. If it’s software engineering isn’t right for you, then change that up too. You’ve only been working 10 years, but you’re talking like you’re at the tail end of a 45 year career. You could become a master in literally anything and still have more than 10 years to reap that. Get the courage to change the things you can.
