I don't envy people on the receiving end of this. That said, it sounds like it's part of the trend to begin to put pressure on the universities by making student loans less attractive. If there are consequences for racking up larg

My father lives in a small town in Tennessee where a lot of people have started to go to retire. A number of neighbors who have moved there in recent years have been from California trying to escape the high cost of living.

I've spoken with people who are connected much higher up and the truth is that they could get rid of 70% plus and still bring in the same profit. The unsaid thing is that most profit is still from search ads, the rest of the spending m

I say repeal the law that exempts them from liability. It has had an un-intended consequence of allowing large pseudo monopolies to emerge. It has also given them an un-fair advantage over TV and newspapers who are liable for their content.

The majority of Googles profit/revenue still comes from search/advertising. It has generated wads of cash for them, but if they just sat on the cash it would not make Wall Street happy so they've thrown a bunch of money at di

Years ago I worked at a Burger King in the kitchen and someone ordered a vegetarian Whopper. We all looked at each other wondering how to do that when the manager came back and instructed us to make a Whopper without the meat patty. IE: A

This should be interesting to watch. Most of the big issues are moving online payments over to a 3d secure spec. 3DS is analogous to what the chip and pin did for physical credit cards when upgrading from magnetic strips. The thing is, it r
