Try not to get too bogged down by not having a plan or a clear idea where to go. This may seem like an unnatural state for our minds, but chaos is the default state of nature. Focus your mentalities on yourself (eg do what you want, not wha

What I don't like, is when companies adopt a policy that is checked for before code check in, such as in Java where there are many tools to perform the auto analysis of code. When one of these rules is "thou shall comment all decl

I find this a very good idea, but since the latest news update was 2012, how has Sanos kept up with security vulnerabilities?

"...if we want computers to do the things brains can do..." That's my point though. I don't want computers to do what my brain does, mainly because I have no idea what my brain does, nor does anyone. Sure, some people th

How about: I like driving so don't take it away. or perhaps: Just because we can, doesn't mean we should.

I think the C++ committee has gone a step or few too far. This code is horribly ugly.

Hang on, Hang on. Let's not get too carried away here. The big corps are all scared after what has/is happening to facebook, and this is an attempt at trying to "go down the unsteady river together" with the authorities.

This does not detract from the fact that it is offering an unreal developer better terms than a unity dev.

I think this is facebook getting scared of regulation and so thinking that if facebook's "features" get adopted more so, then they can be pinpointed by authorities less. My thoughts only.

Once upon a time, valve used to develop games. Then it became big and realised where the money is, and stopped developing games. Epic is currently developing games. Will they get big and stop? If they did, they still have Unreal. Steam has

"...if you’re using Unreal Engine, Epic will cover the 5% engine royalty for sales on the Epic Games store, out of Epic’s 12%." So there is a bias in the Epic store towards Unreal titles then, contrary to what I just read.

It's not sending back "the software". It is sending back data about you. And who knows what. Indeed, human greed is faster moving than regulation, so its no wonder we are in the transition phase. And if you tell me all this

For something to have true value, it must be limited in supply and also people must have a common agreement that it is valuable. Money used to be like this before the Gold Standard was removed. When that happened, money lost its true value.
