It was 3D but it wasn’t really Doom like. It reminded me more of Magic Carpet. There was a Windows 95 screen saver that was Doom like though.

Sometimes sure; but not “often”. The ones that work against JavaScript are probably written in JavaScript however none of the ones I use commonly are.

I hadn’t seen that before but it perfectly sums up my approach to tech. I’m going to share this the next time someone questions why I take a pragmatic approach rather than jumping on the next new tech stack Thanks for sharing

I used to quite like BT control of the TV back when my kids were babies. Advance warning though, these are going to be pretty niche use cases… I would feed them and they’d fall asleep in my arms but sometimes I would be terrified to move t

Which model have you got? I have a few LG TVs and there’s various options across the different firmwares that might disable that. Eg LG Connect Apps I’ve also often wondered if “store mode” disabled all of the radios because that’s the kind

I think there is a risk of over complicating the rules in doing all that you suggest. Baring in mind copyright law affects everyone, having something that is easy to reason with is definitely a feature rather than a problem. That all said,

That must be a new record for the number of straw man arguments in a single reply! Public domain typically does centre around copyright but it’s not exclusive to copyright. So in a way you’re right. But in a more correct way you’re not. As

Maybe try and organise a date where the event generates conversation. Like bowling. Or go see a movie before going for a meal. Ultimately though, if you’re bored of each other’s company then you’re not suitable for each other. So the “find

No idea why you’re getting downvoted. Search, language server engines, even code reformatting, all the stuff that really separates VSC is an external executable and thus not part of Electron. If any of these fanboys spent even 5 minutes loo

If there are only two people in your dev team then you absolutely wouldn’t be writing OS components as well as web apps regardless of the languages natively supported by the OS.

We’ve seen how Electron performs. The only reason VSC doesn’t totally suck is because a lot of it is still native code. I can’t even imagine how crappy it would be building an entire OS out of that stuff. And you’re never going to escape th
