Hard to answer this question as it largely depends on what you are doing with your VM. This appears to be a wrapper for QEMU and tries to pick reasonable settings to make spinning up new VMs easier.

Analyze your workflow regularly and see if you find any repetition to your work. It's not worth automating every tedious task you might do but if one is coming up regularly it is very well worth automating.

Guilty, I did this on my first project site back in the early 00s. It only worked for a small time before scanners got more sophisticated. It was a fun diversion but people who do this quickly adapt.

I think it is odd that they chose to make a product out of a hack. Seems like a lot to invest on the bet a few Apple security people wouldn't patch this up. Not discouraging the endeavour but now they are on the hook for all of these

Interesting, I wonder if newer OS updates are now using DoH. It's sad that I have to block upgrades for my TVs firmware for what could resolve potential security issues simply to have control over how my TV behaves on my network. This

I reroute all DNS queries attempting to leave my network to my DNS server. It won't work in scenarios where there is DoH without user consent, however at that point I should reconsider purchasing such hostile devices.
