30% seems a crazy high number in my humble opinion. For the companies that can, that cost gets transferred to the purchaser. But for those who can't, for example Spotify who has to compete with Apple Music that has no %, it gets absorb

One difference, if I am not mistaken, is that Sony and Microsoft loose money on each console sold, at least on the first years, so they make money by the % to developers. Apple makes lots of money on each iPhone sold.

draw.io is great, however, isn't the question about what type of diagrams do we do instead of what software do we use to do diagrams? I am confused.

I am a user of PaintShop Pro 7, love it. Bought PSP8. Hate it. Anybody can recommend something similar to PSP7 which is having issues with Win10? Tried GIMP but too complicated. Paint.NET too simple.

Is crazy that Microsoft had an app chat for years (Messenger not exactly the same) that basically died and now they are buying another chat app for 10b! Not to forget what a mess they have done with Skype UX.

I don't know what the macbook touchpad does that you like so much, as I have not owned a macbook for at least 10 years, however, I think nothing can match a ThinkPad trackpoint.

Nothing is freely available. Somebody is paying for it. In my case, I pay 800 euros per month, and then we can use it "freely". What you surely meant is universally available for all.

My first computer was an original IBM PC XT. It had 8088, 640kb or RAM, 20MB Seagate HD, and a 360kb dd. Software was so lean that we would use smartdrive (or something like that), to use 360kb of RAM as a virtual disk and copy the games th

For Latin America, the best option is MercadoPago (Market Pay)I believe. I have no relation to them by the way. It is from the same company that created MercadoLibre (Market Free) which originally was a clone of ebay. MercadoPago is a clone

The big difference is that you can say President USA is this and that and nothing will happen to you. But speak badly of the Chinese government and you would end up in a shithole for life. Or worst. Or say something bad about the N Korean l

LogMeIn did the same. They became popular because they have a great product that was free to use for personal matters. So I had it installed on all of my family and friend's computers to use it occasionally when they had trouble. Then

With totalitarian governments, you never know. Look what happened to Alexei Navalny. Look what happened to Sergei and Yulia Skripal in UK? Again, I am not saying the other governments are saints, but I feel you have much more options in dem

Of course (almost?) no government is a saint. However, China is a totalitarian non-democratic government. I would fear the Chinese government much more than the US or UK governments, for example. But I might be too naive.

Move to Bitwarden. It has a great free version but if you want to support them, you can pay 10 USD per year. Less than 1 dollar a month. Really reasonable.

But if you are in, "in progress" for example, how does anyone knows it is done if you don't have the two columns? More so in your case where you do handovers.

I always wonder why most implementation of kamban use only one column per step, instead of two as explained by Eric Brechner. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CD0y-aU1sXo&t=535s

I send 1000 euros per month to another person on a monthly basis using an app called Remitly. It charges me a fixed fee of 3.99 IIRC. It arrives within the hour to her bank account. 24 hours at most. There are many others like it, Azimo, an
