What do you mean dogs don't need meat?
- k__ 6y agoAs far as I know, dogs can live on a vegan diet. Some even have to, because they're allergic to animal protein.
- NineStarPoint 6y agoDogs are omnivores, they can digest a wide variety of things. You could actually feed dogs a vegan diet if you want to, it just requires very careful formulation to get them all the nutrients they need. Even more so than it does for humans I believe, dogs while omnivores are very much geared towards being meat eaters.
