WhatsApp was free. At least for the 1st year it was, and then you were supposed to pay 1 USD per year. 0.084 cents per month, which was also basically free. I paid till FB made it totally free, but I know a lot of friends that did not pay a

And what happens if somebody breaks in and steals your NAS?

by kwanbix 6y ago
Love how well Dropbox works. Sadly, for me, it is too expensive. It is 240 euros per year for a family of 6. For comparison, the same plan in Google One costs 120 euros per year. Same for Office 365. If they did 120 euros per year for the f

I would "encode" it as abc at my domain which is google.com or something not to get your email grabbed by bots.

That is totally different. Boing did lots of bad decisions to try to fight the Airbus Neo which was much more fuel efficient than their current airplanes. All of the decisions led to huge changes on the MCAS. But basically nobody was told a

In Win3 era you will see a representation of what your new color theme will look like. Also, you can do something similar to what happens when you change screen resolution. A window pops up with a countdown for let's say 60 seconds (or

You cannot access it from abroad. That is what I was told at least since I don't watch German TV. If what you say is right, I doubt, my bad. Still, I am forced to pay something that I have absolutely no use. Is like if I was forced to

Schools? Police? Roads? Seriously? You gave probably the worst examples you could have. You only missed firemen and hospitals. But even then, why so expensive? It is a lot of money. Germany has 80 million people, assuming 4 persons per hous

How do you know that the next passenger didn't get your phone? You cannot assume it was the Uber driver. It could even be that you dropped it in the street while getting off the Uber.

Well, it depends how do you measure positivizes. The babies that are going to be aborted, for sure don't see it as positive.

This also applies for product management imho. At least for me it does. If I have to start a product from start it is much better than taking over another person's product.

My experience is just the opposite. People disappear for their holidays and they don't even live a backup most of the time.

I cannot disagree more. Yes, Windows 7 is more polished in some ways, for example the control panel vs the thing they have created now. But the rest, I don't have any of the problems you describe. And I run Windows 10 on a ThinkPad P50

I cannot understand how they keep the notch so big at this time. There are android phones that do the same without it AFAIK. I imagine that Steve would have not allowed it to last so long, but the current CEO only cares about money.
