Sad as it may seem, you cannot avoid those deaths. Stopping the spread of this disease is impossible. Even if you flatten the curve, the virus will continue to infect just as many, just slowly. >and Sweden's tactics don't seem

There's never ever going to be enough antibody kits for everyone in the world. Same with the PCR test, its impossible to make so many. The only discussion is going to be about the definition of "wide-spread". Whats yours?

Just brushing rapidly against any of those surfaces can potentially aerosolize it as well. Not to mention that the radius of air-borne transmission route keeps changing. And on top of that we haven't got a lot of data on other vectors

All I know is that the streets are just as crowded, people are still going out and businesses are still open. There are plenty of news reports showing that. There is no known method of stopping the spread of this disease. Even if you flatt

I read the link and unfortunately the "data" as far as I could tell is people's opinions and assumptions. Is there any other source/data?

Yep.. our oral cavity has a ton of ACE2 receptors (much more than the lungs). Apart from eating it, in a round about way, I think people do recognize that its a vector, as the food container/packaging still qualifies as a surface that

Well there's two things. There is the 'minimum viable dose' which you can estimate for various diseases, that will most likely result in an infection. And then there is the dose size (above that minimum). With an exponential

Well with an exponential curve, even if the amount of the initial dose changes 10 fold, from 20,000 to 200,000 virons you will get to hundreds of millions in pretty much the same time. I believe adaptive immunity takes about a week or two t

Thanks for taking the time to post the link, but it wasn't convincing as it lacked data and other relevant scientific information that I was looking for. Personally, I do not consider the NYT to a reliable source of information, but I

Since you seem to imply that one can make a good business plan for an airline accounting for such high risk, please present one, or point to one that has succeeded.

I don't think any business plan accounts for half of the worlds population suddenly not participating in the world economy.
