I have never came up to a code that would pass null in place of Optional, why?

And saved millions of developer minds not having to deal with mind bending async/await. Thanks, I prefer to wait.

There is an option for more than one USB-C port. Chargers for 240W will appear eventually, standard was approved few months ago.

Tell that to Apple Watch charger.

Oh, you are right. Nissan Leaf few years ago looked more like B-segment (subcompact - like e.g. Honda Fit) but now I see it is actually a compact (C-segment).

Model 3 is 2x the price of Nissan Leaf, and Leaf is a bit price for its size. Leaf costs 2x the price of equivalent petrol car. A car that costs 4x the price of "normal car" is a luxury for my taste. And Model 3 is the least expen

Teslas the majority? I always assume Tesla was a more luxury brand of EVs. Is there any ranking of amount of EVs by brand sold to date? AFAIR Nissan Leaf was selling quite well some time in Europe. And in 2022 I see BYD sold more vehicles t

So you mean cash system? And seriously, criminals will abuse every system, e.g. internet, cryptocurrencies, etc.

Interesting concept, but the issue is that one would need to constantly charge the phone and batteries have a tendency to go bad after some time with such usage.

Well yeah, but I wonder what software to use for constant recording that could be worked on outside of the recording process.
521.
by krzyk 4y ago
A related question, is there a ready solution to do constant recording using some Linux box (e.g. Raspberry PI)? AFAIR I've seen someone recommended such software on HN but I can't find it right now, it was something for recording

And yet, when you give away your keys you can loose it. Look what happened with all those planes that were leased to Russia.

Basic common sense, not your keys not your coins.

> An exchange shouldn't count deposited crypto as their asset. It is an asset of their customer. But banks do, multiple times. (one dolar produces n dollars in loans). A test with Bank run can confirm it.

Soli != hardware for face unlock. It had 2xIR cameras, flood illuminator and a dot project for that purpose. Soli was a gimmick on top of that, so it would enable that hardware above when you were reaching with your hand for the phone. In m

Is cruptsetup standard nowadays, or something that one would call a "real storage support"? Yes I'm booting without initrd, because in my case I don't need it - no cryptsetup and I don't need optional drivers becaus

Coal is cheaper than crating solar panels and storage of electricity for them. Wind has other issues. There is no silver bullet here.
530.
by krzyk 4y ago
Why is initrd needed for "real storage support"? I usually have my storage drivers compiled into kernel, not as modules (because why have them as modules if you need them always).

Why? It was simple and understandable. systemd has everything and a kitchen sink, it is a big blob of software. Finding out why the heck my resolv.conf contains some 127.0.0.x entry and not the real nameserver was the final thing that made
