I don't think you need to map all of them to a single object - projections work well here. There are very few cases where you need to work simultaneously on that many columns.

Yeah, I don't like JPA because of lack of support of immutable types (records or my own classes that don't have setters, only constructor). If you have data class with more than 5 fields then you have it wrong. Builders are like l

I wonder how much of this could be reduced if they used records in Java.

And with records you mostly don't need Lombok (unless you really like builders and can't wait for withers in Java).

But this is an app to use when on foot, laptop or desktop is not that usable when you are walking - and doesn't have a GPS usually. If you want to edit OSM at home you have many other options.

EMEA does not include India. And the MEA is peanuts compared to the first E when you think about money available to spend.

List lacks simple methods to access the head and tail. There are multiple times I wanted to get the tail element but had to do two calls (get size and get(size-1)). Having first()/last() methods would make it easy and more readable.

I wonder if it would be possible to use vim as the UI and connect to the backend of Fleet - best of both worlds.

I'm a bit surprised, homeless people have phones and email addresses? Sorry for question, but it is a bit mind blowing for me, in my country homeless people are rare and the ones I see don't worry about anything besides something

With each release of iphones this creates a waste (they ship lightning cables with those phones/accessories) - now they can drop it because Apple users will use standard like the rest of the world.

Well, works, but wifi (ac) has unpredictable latency, so it works for few minutes and then suddenly you get s 1s freeze - switched to ethernet.

Fiber is not needed. 50mbps is enough for 1080, 60fps. You just need lowish latency, so no radio, no wifi. Worked fine for me on GFN, Paperspace and Shadow.

It is Russia, they have their ways. Nobody believes in their 'repairs' and temporary issues with the pipeline. I really hope it is destroyed. If they wanted they could reuse the old pipeline that is on land on Polish territory. BT

Maybe they have a fast way to fix it? Or they can prolong fixing into deep winter - and again make the gas price even higher like they did previously. https://www.politico.com/news/2022/09/28/nord-stream-

They can gain much - gas reserves in Europe during winter to small -> no chance for sanctions on Russian gas. This is the same they did with the "repairs" for NS1 which stopped gas to Germany for few weeks (or months I don'

The biggest gain is for Russia, remember the long "repair" of NS1? Blocking the filling of gas reserves in Western Europe? Repair here, sabotage there and bam Germany has less gas for winter.
