You can connect them through the air and through the ground. That gives you two. The third has to be connected through the houses, which might be an option. Four is essentially the same. Where it gets really difficult is when there are more

Think about how often prices are raised "due to increasing costs" and how often they are lowered for any reason. One is systemic, the other would probably be minor news.

Given the immense vitriol in the comments that from what I can see comes mostly from US folks, what kind of person does want this in the US? Where is the push for this coming from, given that it has to be rich people or otherwise politics w

The world is not crumbling, Putin is just being Putin. The US is being the US at him. Essentially nothing is new there, except it's not in the middle east so suddenly it is a bigger problem than it was. You're looking at at least

Most of what you mentioned either doesn't apply to you or only ever applies to you relatively briefly. The answer there is to ignore those things. I would hope children aren't uniformly depressing, but if you feel they are you sho

It is only considered prestigious if you are part of the section of society that respects lawyers to begin with. It is a shit job where you most likely exploit people's misery all day, sort of like a telemarketer. That is the sentiment

Good examples of high-density living are not found within the EU. For this you should look at f.e. singapore.

It doesn't mean high(er) density living at all (at least not how it is understood in the rest of the world). The US is mostly empty space, no flats or whatever required.

More than two layers of management = a company that is bleeding money. More than one layer generally already means idiotic decisions are being made. I sort of hunger for an example of zero layers.

If it were better to the degree you pretend, we'd all use that. That is not the reality, as such we can expect the amount of better to be marginal at best.

I'm assuming you're pretending to be some caricature for comedic purposes, but it would be a lot more clear if you clarified that somehow.

The average CEO can't even figure out why they can't seem to hire new people, but somehow they are very well clued in to market fluctuation? I think it is more reasonable to assume equal competence.

The book is really good, but unless you absolutely love reading technical material I contend you should not read it cover to cover. Read what you might need to solve your current issue and keep doing that until you no longer need it, sure

Good riddance. Corporations getting rich on the backs of unpaid labour that is far more skilled than anything they'll ever have in-house is a travesty.

If 100% of my work was on OSS, I would add probably 10x the value to everyone else's life than I bring at my job. I'm hardly alone in this - most jobs are useless. As such, it is logical for it to bum you out - if only the folks t

It is not hard to run cheats for basically any game that uses video on another machine. Just a little more expensive (i.e. it is harder for someone in high school, but not anyone over 20).

It's chess, it's not heart surgery exams. The cheating sucks, but anti-cheat measures are infinitely worse. There is no better way to suck the fun out of something than demanding you submit to a patdown and metal scan or a rootkit
