Python is a great language, but not if you want to glue together shell commands. It is very verbose and quite obviously not a first-class citizen. That is what you use bash for.

A "this is not intuitive" argument can be made about every formalised system and is not interesting: It will always be true for someone, no matter what you do. Get used to it being otherwise, then it will not bother you anymore.

If your resume is a single page, you send the message that most of what you did isn't relevant, isn't important or doesn't matter. I see this as a red flag.

Pointing it out / getting people to acknowledge it actually does the opposite: Folks will focus on your perceived shortcoming more and most of them won't turn that into constructive change. In effect you're just making it wor

If you are more beautiful (or at the very least more trained) than the person next to you, folks will listen to you more. Your natural looks influence that, but focusing on that won't help: You cannot change that. Going to the gym is s

It is not worth destroying ecosystems for a little more power, local or otherwise. That kind of thinking is what got us to our current day, with everything going to shit.

Isolating your country is a measure that only makes sense when you view problems as something someone else makes, with solutions being something you primarily provide. It is unhealthy and bad for cooperation to think this way, and a "l

I was ready to be upset at this, but actually it's not such a bad idea. It's a single shared flight for one person and you get heating for months in return. There is no universe in which this doesn't make sense.

I think it is more about a structural change in EU politics: Far, far more right-wing adherence and populist parties at the top. This means poor stewardship and knee-jerk politics, which does tend to lead to war.

More weapons in any conflict only lead to less safety, not more. I've been trying for a lot of years to tell US gun proponents this but I have never managed to have it land.
