I think it is a bit more nuanced than that, and that the line is really hard to draw. If you wife for example got a manager that thought the females had no place in the workplace and should be a stay at home wife and was open about this, wo

Staying in a job and supporting yourself and you family for a temporary time doing a normal job is not indifference. It is putting food on the table, perhaps literally.

Is there any incentive for the drivers to not just tape over this camera? As far as I see this information will almost certainly only be used against you. But then again, perhaps taping over the camera will be used against you as well.

I was going to write a similar comment, but yours is much better. I would add one thing though, just luck and some random accidents. In general in life humans like to go back and understand why some things were successful, and do that to re

Swing state and flipping is (or can be thought of as) different things. The democrats can possibly win Texas this year, and Beto was fairly close. But if Biden wins Texas the election is already long over, he will have won more than 270 del

Why would we even ban SUVs or pickups? If you are concerned with global warming it seems to me that pollution should be taxed and if some people are still choosing to do so they can. And then keep raising these goals so we get rid of ineffi

I don't think it is meaningful if Texas flips, only if it becomes a swing state. If Trump looses Texas he will already have lost the election a long time ago so it doesn't really matter. Note that some states with almost similar n

I'm not sure about this. Two problems for California right now is that it is seen as a blue state so is on the shit list of the GOP, and that it is not a swing state so it doesn't get any influence during elections. If CA would aw

It’s like all the silly mobile games, you need a pool of cheap players so the rich people can feel accomplished when they spend money. This is similar, there needs to be enough for people being accepted to and graduating from a university s

Isn't it also the worst argument :-) In that it is well explained but I look a little bit in horror on it. For me it seems like dynamic scoping is very similar or at least related to dependency injection. Which seems to be one of those

I have a peloton bike and I love it. I also like to run with peloton outdoors, but I can’t do that with just the Apple Watch. It seems likely the Apple will offer something similar for their service that will work with watch only.
