I had the same experience but my problem was from the sheer amount of games being released. I couldn’t pick one, became overwhelmed and then lost the drive to try something. So I stopped worrying about the reviews, about length about all th

First time I’m hearing about this. Checked my mail and nothing. Nothing on Twitter even on Kenneth’s profile. Is there more details what are they pivoting to?

I have never seen Terraform crash in the years I’ve been using it. Optimizing based on a lottery event seems counter-productive EDIT: Alright guys, good points all around. Mainly what I meant is the ratio of useful of Terraform vs its short

Works for me FF, Linux. CORS error isn't related to app, it's just Sentry.

You argument away your own fix. Proposed fix is like if rm was limited to files outside of /sys, plenty of projects depend on the standardized behavior.

You're not. It completely diminishes the whole point. I have met many younger developers who went through different struggles and are more mature than most 40-years old. Opposite ageism is also real, this one is a proof of it.

Do we have to have this comment on every single twitter post? Jesus, we get it, you don’t like threads, get over it. Either use a workaround so it outputs blog-like post or don’t read it. But for the love of god, stop complaining about. Eve

Out of my head (just amateur in Phoenix right now) you could just leverage the API endpoints in Phoenix and implement the iOS and Android frontend with them. The Views are decoupled. So you can have the business logic, as you would normall

Again, you’re gatekeeping because of your personal believe. Check how the market looks like outside of your bubble. Industry has moved on and if you need somebody to manage direction of your infrastructure (yes, be it just Jenkins or whole

DevOps Engineer is absolutely a title nowadays. Refusing it because you personally don’t agree with it doesn’t change anything; it’s what searched by both candidates as well as companies. EDIT: Great explanation from one of the commenters

Absolutely not. You should do what you enjoy. I was facing a similar problem, where I started playing games again after few years of grinding and it was hard for my mind to accept that I can “slack-off” and do something else than work. Too

Well it definitely is more efficient but RAM is still RAM… Swapping whole 8 gigs will make your system sluggish no matter what. I feel like 8GB is fine if your usage is really light, but swapping more than 70% will slow it down extensively.

Qodana isn’t just a linter though, that’s the sell. It will eventually include popular Python linters (right now only Java, Kotlin and PHP are supported).

I’m amazed on how many websites today still don’t use script hash or nonce and happily reference random CDNs with unsafe-inline. Not saying this then wouldn’t be an issue, but at least you have a failsafe.

I’m really dumbfounded by the Copilot team decision to not exclude GPL licensed code. Why was this direction chosen? Is the inclusion of GPL really worth the risk and potential Google v. Oracle lawsuit? I’d like to know the reasoning.

Pretty serious accusation with petty comments from the CEO. Feel like we are missing some crucial part of the story though. Doesn’t make sense why would they go out of their way to threaten a small open-source project.
