Any downside other than bigger plug? And plug is bigger partially because it needs to support 3 phases, which isn’t a thing in USA houses (while common across the whole world) but is a thing at industrial locations. Tesla plug doesn’t work

Bash is perfect for interacting with console tools. If that’s what you need to do, C/go won’t only be much longer code, but also much harder and error prone. Command line tools are complex to deal with and there’s no magic bullet lang

If you have to interact with console tools, nothing beats bash. If you don’t have to, you should never use it.

What would that give them? GPT is their only real asset, and companies like Meta try to commoditize that asset. GPT is cool and whatnot, but for a big tech company it's just a matter of dollars and some time to replicate it. Real value

It’s just part of the cycle. For new paradigm, you have companies jumping to build their own things. Later it unifies and you get few main leaders. It wasn’t that long ago that computer manufacturers would build their own chips.

My daily driver is PHEV and I love it. I’ll likely drive it till it disintegrates. But. Very little people would care to charge PHEV on any regular schedule. So you end up getting more expensive car, with bigger battery, that’s driven just

It's as silly as it's to argue that good off roading car makes also a great grand touring car. Sure, it may, maybe. But those are 2 very different use-cases, and it's not given or easy by any way.

How is it relevant that they're launching rockets? How is that relevant that competition is behind? None of that matters when you try to make an argument that it's basically a replacement for space station, with few simple tweaks.

If we’re talking science fiction, then sure, you could do anything. You’re talking about metal tube that never reached the orbit. You thing you just need “slight” customization to make it a space station? That thing doesn’t fly yet, is not

In a same way as a paddle boat is a war ship… Yeah, it’s cool, but there’s bazillion things needed for a space station. Just a metal tube in the orbit isn’t sufficient.
