That's kind of what I thought too. Our app is very Modal heavy (including modal inception), but I can't think of any case where the suggested alternatives would actually be better. And that's backed up by the fact that our us

I have about 1300hrs in 206s. They are great for off airport operations, and can handle very stiff crosswinds in the right hands, but I don't have much else good to say about them. PITA to get into, slow, and they handle poorly on the

I agree. I have around 1500 hrs in 150s/172s/206s, and about the same in Piper Cherokees, Twin Comanches, and Navajos. I'd pick Piper any day of the week in any category. Except for maybe off-field operations Pipers are bette

I've worked on Mooney's and sat in them but never flown one. They're slick but I find then cramped and difficult to work on. I'd take a Commache 260 over a Mooney any day of the week. Not quite as fast/economical, b

I tend to agree, and usually go straight for the schema when I start on a project, because the data structure is the model of the real world problem. With regard to migrations though, I tend to disagree. Code is very easy to manage in versi

I definitely understand your reasoning, but personally I don't see how I would be more productive by switching languages. Maybe I just don't know what I'm missing, but I feel pretty dang productive with my current stack. And

I 100% agree. The first language I learned in highschool was VB6. I only went to VB .NET when VB6 stopped working. I next learned PHP because it gave me superpowers on the web that VB couldn't. When Ruby on Rails became popular, then N

Thanks for sharing, that's encouraging for us. We spent 1.3 yrs building our software, and it took us 8 months to get our first paying customer (we did a lot of long free trials/beta users), and after 1yr since launch we're u

You talk as if that's a bad thing. As a developer I don't want to wade into the details of systems I'm using, I want to spend my time writing code that solves the business problems I'm tasked with solving. If there is a

It could only be exponential if the population was infinite. It has to be more of a bell curve, because as infection grows, there are fewer hosts to infect, and therefore growth would start to decline.
