And this is why I closed my PayPal and Venmo accounts and will never do business with this awful company again. I had the same experience. Only lost $600 but lesson learned.

That’s kind of a strange and rude thing to say… Don’t yuck his yum.

As a foreigner myself, the winter is my favorite time of the year in Iceland. The landscape is beautiful and the glacier lagoon is quite full of icebergs and excursions like [into the glacier]( https://intotheglacier.is ) or snowm

Does anyone else think the low power alert noise is too loud as well? I always get startled when it happens and my ears hurt afterward.

I have an easier way to mitigate this: 1. In the Venmo app, go to the You tab by selecting the single person icon 2. Tap the Settings gear in the top right 3. Select “Account” under “Preferences” 4. Tap “Close Venmo Account”

Ransomeware wouldn’t exist to the same degree without crypto. Crypto’s killer app is quite obviously fraud and illegal activity.

OpenWRT is seriously good. The architecture (UCI, overlayfs, LuCI, etc) achieves what very few appliance-like firmwares can: extensibility without consistency problems. Not to mention the zoned based firewall is seriously impressive. Rarely

Just got back into OpenWRT after 10 years or so and it’s really grown up. Tell me, what package are you using for sending stats to influxdb? Thanks!

Don’t you think their chance of defending their country would be a lot higher with deliberate military spending vs an untrained ad-hoc citizen militia?

False dichotomy. Reread: The right to carry a AK-47 into Walmart is not the same as a government handing out weapons to defend from invasion.

It’s absolutely delusional to think that armed citizens could contend with a modernized military, especially in the US. That time has passed. Take for example how well BLM protestors managed against lightly militarized police—and they get s

Talk to people who work for the city of Reykjavík, they are now being compelled to do the work of 5 days in 4. They haven’t hired additional staff to cope with the time crunch. Employees are not happy.

I’m from the US and so I can only speak to US law which I’m more familiar with and obligatory IANAL but… counterintuitively that is only _possibly_ infringement. More information would be needed to determine exactly if that is infringing.
