I’m not sure leaving is the best thing though, unless it’s high profile or a large group. If people leave in a trickle then others will replace them that won’t have that conscience.

I think as long as your in public then it's fine to assume you're being recorded by CCTV. Obviously the government being able to access cameras in your own house like 1984 is not ok. But CCTV in public does reduce crime and help i

Maybe don’t apologise for it, but I definitely think it’s useful to acknowledge if it was your code as it removes an awkwardness around it. Obviously this doesn’t have to be done for every little bug but if there’s a discussion around one t

I think the reason for that is that British people are less trusting of the government and will generally ignore rules if it doesn’t make sense to them unless they’re mandatory. Even the prime ministers dad said he’d still go to the pub jus

I really want a hybrid command line/gui git client. Either a GUI app with a terminal front and centre, or a command line tool that has some commands to use UI style things. I hacked together a bash script that prints out all the branch

That sounds like a lot of effort and money that will have to go into developing and enforcing that. Also it's more "nannying" than just giving people enough more to live on, and then it's up to them how they use it.

I could understand people being concerned about cancer or something. But to link 5G to Coronavirus just shows we have reached a new level of stupid in this country. (Which is saying a lot given Brexit, the previous General election result a

It’s probably not even about the cash itself but being in close contact with the cashier as you hand it over. They are doing that the whole day and we’ve been told many times to stand at least a meter away from each other. Also card/co
