My first thought - are the driveways in front of garages in San Fran? If so, then it's impossible, you can't realistically move your garage a couple of feet to the left and everything be hunky dory. Though maybe the OP mentioned

I found my eyes 'jumping' from word to word. I didn't miss any, and I went to the correct lines, but I did seem to be reading at a much slower clip. But that's from spending 30 seconds reading the webpage, so not very

Scary still and somewhat related is: instead of banning books, just change the content to fit your needs. Like Nineteen eighty-four. Oh, and like this: http://www.independent.co.uk/arts-entertainment/books/news&#x

It would actually be quite interesting to see how large enterprise clients modify/utilize the Django admin... if at all. Other than Grappelli, I've historically used the admin pretty much as-is. Creating admin functions is one th

That is an interesting parting phrase. I suppose on that level where he's coming to grips with only have 30 days, he must be rationalizing that today is the first of those, and that he'll at least get the 30... Heavy. I can't even imagine t

If the comments below are true, this is a very poorly written, badly researched article. If you can even call it an article. It looks like they spent more time putting together a witty movie poster-style graphic than they did actually cre

What I find the most interesting is that they were not disingenuous at all. Meaning, they bought work that they loved, not attempted to get high value art for low cost from known artists. This speaks volumes. It was about the love of art

Agree: I assumed the chart would show that low income areas are less-served by transit stops, but that doesn't appear to be the case. It just shows that income wildly varies by stop..? I'm confused as to what I'm meant to glean from this d

I'm genuinely interested in your positions of opposition to the Affordable Care Act, if any. You're right in saying the OP did not provide any, and I'd be curious to hear some cohesive argument against it that doesn't necessarily tow a par

My first thought is: This is a great way to get their attention. If you've been surreptitiously flying under the radar up until now, I think that stage is long gone. On the flip side, maybe instead of shutting you down, they should acquire

I know everything you're saying is tongue-in-cheek, but I will point out to those who may not be 'in the know' that you can always opt out of any intrusive scan for a pat-down instead. Perhaps not any more comfortable, at least the sweaty T

As a US citizen, this scares the crap out of me. If the government is actively and publicly preventing people from exposing rampant crime, it speaks volumes. At least if they were trying to be covert or slick about it, it implies they know

It's also amazing how working for a large company starts to become less fulfilling when they can afford to pay you instead of really rewarding you in a way that is meaningful. Sometimes money really can't buy happiness.

I wonder if they do a cash/equity split for startups who are accepted to accelerators and may only have, say, $25k or so to last them 4 months and 3 people. $30k for a product isn't bad, but unfunded or bootstrapped startups will never be
