But from reading a dozen or so articles regarding the case it sounds like the general timbre of human emotion in those posts believes that charges of 'concealing his true identity' are used simply to increase the possible sentence. It reminds me similarly of RICO statutes which allow prosecutors to lump various charges together in order to create 'super' charges. Also reminds of me Captain Planet for some reason. Except his evil doppelganger.
