Ahh the VB vs Delphi War..... That brings back memories. I agree that Lazarus looks more mature, however shifting to a pure C backend would actually allow them to be more portable as I believe Lazarus uses FPC which can use a LLVM backend.

I Agree. I think a lot of nerds start out a lot more naïve and idealistic. It seems the further along you go the more you distrust anyone saying something works out of the box without a good explanation of why as you have been burnt before.

From a skim through the article, it seems to require soldering onto the power line between the voltage regulator and the processor to trigger the voltage drop. I don't believe the VR circuitry could be caused to glitch in the desired w

Markets like web hosting will eat any discounted 2.5” enterprise SSDs. Don’t even mention stuff like chia. There is such a large market for 2.5” storage that I don’t think we are going to have a large discounted sell off, unlike say DDR4 EC

For geek cred you could put in another Network or Storage adapter and do ISCSI or FC. SAS would allow 2 to share storage, however I don't think SAS supports more then 2 initiators. Directly connecting every host to a pool of Flash chip

The value is that open source works better in the open. Maybe your writing an app that deals with some obscure data feed and feeds it into some home automation. Maybe the data comes in a format your language doesn't have a good library

The biggest change to working remote vs in-office is communication. Some organisations have done well and make sure communication is shared across all staff easily. Other organisations require proximity as you only get the full picture by o

I would say in Brisbane, Australia the average pay for a Mid level is a $110k AUD package, with seniors being $130k AUD up. Keep in mind Australian listed salaries are often BASE. On top of this you need to factor an additional 9.5% superan
