I would guess Google already keeps a record of a website's history and could easily detect if it suddenly became "seo-deoptimized" EDIT: But I completely agree. There are far too many SEO's out there for this to beat everything

Historically, a large component of Google's ranking algorithm involves the number of links pointing to a website (and a number of other qualities like anchor text, unique domains, surrounding text, etc.). If my memory serves me, there are o

Imagine how inconvenient it will be if SOPA passes and reddit is shut down. Think of this as an opportunity to come up with a contingency plan for your group collaboration :)

Thanks Joachim. I posted here as a last resort, because I have been unable to contact them through any other means. Google does not have a "helpdesk", and they do not even read their own help forums. If you have a suggestion for me to reach

I hope not to sound daft, but why do spammers do this? What is the benefit of automatically creating these accounts? Are they trying to find some sort of exploit in your code that lets them send out emails?

Cheers for that! Thank you for reinforcing my decision. I may just move the rest of my domains over there this week.

Has anyone here used Nearly Free Speech (www.nearlyfreespeech.net)? I have finally started to make my migration away from GoDaddy (I have been planning this for years), and NFS seems pretty good. I can't seem to find any horror stories abou

Yes, you need text and images. The company I work for has been looking for a simple, fast, and good solution to make notes over webpage wireframes. I think this could be it!

I have had quite a bit of success using these services. Here are a few of my tips: 1. As jasonkester said, wait at least a week before you start looking at proposals and making your decision. You get a lot of crap in the first few days, and

I have to agree with you. 35,000 likes are very valuable. And it's not just the 35,000 people that like you. You can advertise on Facebook to "friends of friends who like you", using the "friend" as a testimonial of sorts. "Blah blah blah
