How do you provision a Windows machine that isn't tied to a person? I've been using the bypass way for laptops used by sports clubs. I'd like to switch to using Linux but I haven't been able to overcome some packaging an

Lactose and gluten intolerance often come together, so it wouldn't surprise me that people get confused on that is causing their problem. It's easier with lactose because there are plenty of products that have lactase added durin

I would agree. Republicans and then Americans voted for T a second time, after Jan 6. They knew what he stood for. So this change is baked in. The US is abandoning the world order they set and maintained since WWII. Looking back, I think th

I'm not aware of a good alternative right now. I used to use Firefox but the performance was abysmal on Linux, and they blew up the android experience - might be fixed now. There's no built in ad block and something about the sync

That's the position the US was already in. The US was at peak "selling expensive weapons to Europe".

Yah but it was only the apparel side that Caterpillar threatened, so they may have won or given up and stopped selling clothes. Looking at their online store they don't have anything with Cat printed on it right now.

What happened? This is reporting on the first round but I can't find a follow-up on how things went. Did Caterpillar back down or did Cat and Cloud lose their apparel trademark?

Not really. What cats did they return to bags? The cats/cars are still out there, prowling around. The car limited urban centres are still surrounded by suburban areas. I used to live in Copenhagen and we were the only people in our li

I don't use any chemicals on my lawn anyway. I just weed out the clover when it grows into my flower beds. My plan is on removing as much lawn as possible.

My favourite is a private local slack group. It is a group of mainly software devs who chatted on public groups and dealt with a couple of trolling / bad behaviour situations, so we made a private invite only slack. It's really ni

Because the AI is not a person. It doesn't seem like we're anywhere near AGI that could be considered a person. Training an LLM is taking existing content and transforming it into another format for later consumption by a person.
