I agree, this is the sort of statement that should be backed up by... something. But we do use Bitwarden where I work (large enterprise software vendor). Adoption is not consistent, but it's the IT supported solution here.

The watermark literally just fell off of the document when I opened it in Inkscape. Everything else (except the watermark) rendered there, so it was completely clean just by opening. (Sorry, OP.)

I tend to use *nix for things that are UNIX-like. I think of un*x in the older sense from the other parent "it's not actually UNIX and f*ck the trademark" but I'm not sure that dichotomy in my mind is useful anymore.
