I see, I think you are referring to the unequal spacing of the nuts on each side, i.e. the side with 5 nuts has them closer together than the other sides. I thought there was some point being made about the use of nuts vs. some other arbitr

I still don't get it. The image is a 3-4-5 right triangle, which is mathematically fine. What do you mean by "nuts" and "points"?

I'm not sure how this thread got off on this tangent but I don't think there was ever any attempt to comment on whether there are or are not tornadoes on the west coast. The discussion was the lack of extreme events typical of the

I think you’re drawing the wrong conclusion from the post. There was no suggestion of tornadoes on the West Coast. It was a discussion of relatively isolated meteorological phenomena in the northeast corridor.

Depends on how you use the devices. For many or most users, it's possible they are nearly equivalent. For some, iOS does offer things Android does not. Media creators get access to different kinds of software on iOS than on Android, si

I'm still using an original M1 Air and the thing is used nearly all day for light casual web usage, and I only plug it in about two times per week -- the energy efficiency is no joke. This kind of battery life really spoils you and whe

What I mean is that adding C++ files to your iOS project and having them compile and work together without any new compilation steps or settings, and to have Swift code call a C api on your C++ implementation -- all of this is straightforwa

But in this case, the "napkin" math of 95 years would be off by 200 years! Hardly a useful estimate for this particular topic. Still confused where you come up with 105 years as an order of magnitude from 30.

From what I understand, it’s still pretty clunky to do multithreading with it. So people who want the speed of near native execution often also want extra threads.

One thing about the web is that GPU compute is still not so straightforward to achieve, and even CPU multithreading has a bit clunky at best. For many kinds of apps, web is really not the right answer for these reasons. If all you need is a
