As a grad student, he's right and I'm glad he's saying it. (I'm in CS, though, not biology.)

Not sure exactly what you meant, but an app that does sentiment analysis on your text conversations on your phone would be pretty cool. It wouldn't just detect potential betrayal; it could show all kinds of cool (but useless) stuff.

Obviously the other main culprit (for putting carbon into the air) is China, and it's not worth it for the US to try to exercise power over them. As to the list of stuff you're complaining about, you can only blame Australia (i.e.

Humans have been adapting to nature and vice versa for all of history. Those things I mentioned are not enough to stangle the economy. I mean, if you are going to impoverish people, what's the point? Isn't preventing global warmin

I wouldn't blame this on governments/corporations. I would blame it on people choosing to have children they can't necessarily support. I think people should have the right to do that, but they should have to face the consequ

By the way, to clarify the other comment I just made, the Democrats really are collectivist, because they favor socialized medicine, education, high redistribution of wealth, and arbitrary amounts of regulation. Yes, it's true that the

What exactly is different between the ideology underpinning Democrats, and socialism? I'm genuinely asking what you think the difference is. The Democrats obviously support socialized medicine, socialized education, wealth redistributi

That may be true---actually, I think it probably is. But that has nothing to do with the extremely bleak and cynical statement you made: > Most of America is for the ACA, but against Obamacare, it all depends on how you phrase the quest

Trespassing is not the same as going somewhere you weren't invited. It is always wrong for journalists to trespass (i.e. on private propery), but it's not wrong for them to show up uninvited.
