I like Mikrotik gear but IMHO their wireless stack isn't great. I moved my four HAP AC devices onto OpenWRT; speed and stability has been much improved, and roaming works much better. If you don't need WiFi 6 then I'd go as f

How would due diligence on a lead help here? Beyond establishing that 'Adam' was a company insider, I don't see how any due diligence could have picked up this set of facts.

Calvary by Scene Group is also good for this type of animation and can be scripted or load files in from csv / Google docs. Here’s an example I made https://vimeo.com/497222609

I've assumed that control over the end point client native software allows them to focus on removing pain points. Codecs. NAT traversal etc. Once a critical mass of users, big corporates etc. found their solution easier, then they got

Hold in there. Don't make any rash decisions. Give yourself some time to adapt to the pretty significant change in circumstances you have there. You certainly can't walk two paths at once ... who can? You might be at a fork in th

WebRTC is great for this - and has been available in building block SDK form for some time (eg Tokbox). When I last looked it had codec issues cf the client side tools eg Zoom. Not sure if these have been solved yet?

The concept sounds on point. I do understand some of the reaction in this thread. The cutesy graphics are a bit much for me personally and may not differentiate you sufficiently from other insufficiently professional tools e.g. Discord. I a

Insightful post. I like the way you describe the intellectual attraction of prosecuting patents. I am not sure I understand your point about disputes being the foundation of lawyering but not patent law specifically. Patent litigation is

In OP’s use case he describes the purposes of the having the html content wrapped in an app: easy access in an emergency. I am curious as to why the tech community feels so strongly against html content wrapped as an app. There is a lot of

Most modern laptops use DSP to get the speakers to sound the way they do. If you switch that off they have the same ‘flat’ sound described in this review. Wonder if this can be solved in software ?

This looks like a great piece of kit. I’d usually be wary of dropping that much cash on a product from a vendor without a track record. How well backed / funded are these guys?

The same could be said about most of what is taught in secondary education. At least an understanding of principles of grammar would help when learning foreign languages. It is also a transferable skill; a number of parallels to coding for

Also, the economics of making a movie mean that the dialogue must be written for an audience with a very low average level of comprehension. I am not a language snob but sometimes it is so poor or obviously dumbed down that it spoils the r

In the UK in the 80s and 90s it was unfashionable to teach formal English grammar in schools. A whole generation grew up without knowing their gerund from their past participle. (Even as I write this, I know that if put on the spot to expla

You can extend this analysis further. The reason that audiophiles listen to music is for enjoyment. Thus, if they get enjoyment from paying $gazillions for a cable, then it is money well spent.

Even the honest ones sometimes get it wrong. No fun if your kit is in their facility and they go under. Doesn't happen too often thankfully (and to be fair could happen to a smaller VPS provider too, AWS less likely).
