There's a lot of other non-health related insurances and more that depends on an assumed average lifespan. Mortgage/Loans, employment etc. One could become an second class citizen in such a dystopian future.

Worth to note is, well, in my opinion at least, that today's go-to web stack is generally not about simplicity or quick time-to-deploy. The benefits I assume are long-term. So unless a goal is to become up-to-date with the latest popul

I'm curious to how US economists (or perhaps reporters) are able to ignore most of western-Europe when talking about labour costs. Shouldn't these countries be head deep in unemployment for the last 60 years or so if this was stri

By whose standard? I reckon not actively avoiding taxes is quite high up in most peoples list. Proclaiming the virtues of civic duty while still championing corporate tax avoidance rings very superficial to me at least.

1) Taxes should indeed be reverted. Omitting the large tax cuts over the last 20 years or so distorts the context. 2) Apart from the fact that there's been a significant influx of refugees that entire point should be seen as pure opini

Excuse my pet-peeve rant, but the "random personal contacts" line is characteristically vague. In some sort of reflexive pursuit to avoid admitting irrational factors, explanations become necessarily vague. For example, the irrati
