I came here to ask the same thing. Btw Cloudflare D1 has a lot of limitations while it has been in a beta. In my tests, almost all D1 read/writes go to a single region. It is highly recommended to try to limit edge function usage of D1

This is the way I build all my apps now. Eventually the jsonb field stores nothing as it all gets moved to defined fields.

Perhaps so. In light of yesterday's Russia announcement for labeling the "international LGBT public movement" as terror extremists, I think we should be careful what we label as fads or (worse) insidious activity. Source: h

Your comment seems to imply LGBTQIA+ is just a Twitter trend, versus people's lived experience and lifelong identity. This is as unnecessarily judgment as small identities claiming that straight people must self-identify cis. There is

Hi! I'm not familiar with either engine, but I'm confused with the text in the comparison (see below). Couldn't ElectricSQL be used within the backend to enforce policies or am I missing something? > Writes are made direct

The ending was a little odd to me. Why would someone believe that hives aren't extended phenotype of the bee? As the article examples: hives to bees are like beavers to dams.

Exactly. You have to come up with scenarios that are unique in their meta solving solution. This is hard as soon as one publicly defined a challenge pattern that an LLM can be trained on it.

Honestly I'm pretty happy with just the stack: server html jsx templates + htmx boost + css view transitions. It's simple, easy to troubleshoot, fast to build, and crucially provides most of the important benefits of a SPA (seaml

I appreciate the insight. I looked into Maud, but it's very different from being a drop in html template engine like JSX, where most of the time vanilla html is a drop-in. I'll have to look more into leptos and understand its DX a

I was just browsing through this code all night. In principle, Htmx is really showing how React or any frontend framework is just not needed for most applications. Htmx simplifies everything.. even component endpoint caching is as simple as
