The brand is Bluedio. They have pretty good reviews considering the price. I have used Xiaomi before and was amazed by quality/price. I was hoping Bluedio, which is another Chinese brand would be also good. I was wrong. EDIT: Here'

The fake review problem on Amazon is much bigger than people think. Here are my two anecdotes: 1. I got bluetooth headphones on amazon (~$65). They had great reviews, but were very disappointing. I returned them and gave 2 star review. Repr

There's an interesting book on this topic that discusses both how it happened and what that does to our brains and bodies - "The Hacking of the American Mind" by Robert Lustig [1]. The book also is about other ways our brain

I believe that no information about user actions and behaviors should be recorded by a browser. It does not benefit the user in any way, only Google and advertisers. Also we should remember that data needs to be stored first before it is a

I have switched to Firefox a long time ago. The main reason is privacy. I just trust Mozilla much more than Google (I actually don't trust Google at all). From Google Chrome Privacy Notice [1]: [...] Chrome usage statistics include

KDE handles Gtk3 CSD well. I think that might work. I haven't tried it on KDE though.

Thanks lima. .Xresources does not work on Wayland. In my case Qt apps work ok until I connect an external display. Here's before/after: https://imgur.com/a/bJb0J

Yes, it is. EDIT: And CSD works! Instructions to enable it are in a video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5rz_mPVwhDg (I recommend to mute sounds).

I have the same problem - 14 inch WQHD screen. I use 1x UI scaling, 1.6x font scaling. I also made a custom css for GTK that resizes window decorations/buttons that make them more usable. The solution is not perfect though. I am having

I absolutely loved AUR repository and I wish Fedora had something similar. However, with rolling release, something has always been broken: Gnome, GDM, Wayland session, suspend/wakeup, bluetooth. Update would often fix one thing and br

The big change will come with Gnome 3.28 - real fractional scaling. You can test early version of it on 3.26 [1] (experimental). [1] http://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/2017/09/enable-fractional-scaling...

I highly recommend Fedora 27. I have been using beta for the last few weeks. I switched from Arch and I am very happy with how well everything works and how stable it is. Fedora team has a release schedule for every release. However, they d

I would pay $10/month for a weekly digest of the most important world news without editorializing, clickbait, celebrity news. Just important stuff. Also I would not like it to be only US-centered (that could be optional though). EDIT:
