I'm going to guess the focus on "leetcode" style interviews where your competition is spending months to get good at it. At this point, some employers expect you to code up a optimal time & space complexity solution with

If talent starts leaving OpenAI and join Sam at Microsoft, what does OpenAI have left? If investors decide not to give money to OpenAI because their leadership comes across as over their heads, how will they continue running? That may have

This theory would make sense if Apple themselves didn't admit they are spending millions a day to catch up on AI: https://mashable.com/article/apple-spending-millions-of-doll...

Are there companies in India that don't focus on leetcode style problems during the interview process? Maybe you can target those if they exist.

Well most pc laptops allow you to upgrade the ram. Upgraded mine to 64gb for about $125. How much is that analogous to, Apple?

Hard to feel bad for Apple here, since they do the same thing https://www.reuters.com/legal/litigation/apple-lawsuit-says-...

I don't follow the logic the author is using. Let's say we make all public colleges free for students. "Elite" schools will still exist, and top students will still target schools such as Ivy/MIT/Stanford/

"Nothing really to see here or complain about." For a device that starts at $799 and only has 128GB of storage, there is plenty to complain about.

Anyone have comparisons to how many tokens/s a laptop with a mobile Nvidia gpu gets? Considering the cheapest M2 Max laptop in the US costs almost $3k, you can easily get a laptop with a 3090/4090 Nvidia mobile GPU.

I would really like to see an implementation where entering different passcodes unlocks different profiles on your phone. For example, your real phone profile data is behind one passcode, and then you can unlock a decoy phone profile when e

It depends on how Apple implements the sideloading feature. They always take the "malicious compliance" route when forced to do something by law and I think they will make installing apps outside their App Store as irritating as t

My Thinkpad X220 from 2011 works just fine, although I don't use it as my primary laptop anymore. Was also able to upgrade the memory from 4GB to 16GB and updated the HDD to a 1TB SSD :)

My opinion, if you know you want to be a software engineer, study CS at the schools that give you full ride. UT Dallas and Texas A&M are both good schools and the thought of not having to pay back any loans will lift a burden of stress
