I thought we were speaking quantitatively. Where's that quantitative evidence? EDIT: No offense, peterwwillis, but I tend to take arguments such as those from Americans with a grain of salt. Americans like to think that they are bett

Disagree with your point about nationalities, not "American" per say. Here's an example: look at the coverage of the missing Malaysia airlines plane. Every single article I've read starts with this: "[insert nationa

Your argument makes sense. However, let us take into account the fact that there are all kinds of laws passed[0] that frankly shouldn't. [0]Under the disguise of national security concerns.

I'd wager he said that because diversity for the sake of diversity would probably damage the micro climate and would be quite difficult to deal with politically(among participants and employees). The entire campaign is centered around

If I may, I'd like to comment on my initial impression: Bland. Sorry. I know minimalist is all the rage these days, but I (speaking only for myself) would prefer more of a grid-image-based view of the projects.1)It'd add some flar

I'm really, really trying not to be snarky or offensive here, but does anybody else think people using the phrase "founding fathers" sound like a part of a cult?

I thought I'd chip in. I had a professor visiting from the U.S. and he was absolutely in love with the culture in Europe - how we sort of accept more responsibility. He told me he would choose building a business in europe vs. the U.S.

Before your edit, you wrote about risk aversion and how it's toxic for a society. I disagree, mainly because this case is an asymmetric risk scenario - his gains from pleading not guilty are extremely miniscule when compared to his los
