Thanks for memcached! I am surprised how pylibmc even works at this point - its last released version was in 2019. I do hope Pinterest sponsors.

I do hope Pinterest would fund memcached development going forward, especially the language clients for memcached. I've been using pylibmc to access memcached fast, and that project seems to be almost dead ( https://github.co

Thanks for writing this! I just reproduced your experiment and could get the ~10x performance gain (0.42/0.02) on my mac m1 (I had to uninstall typing - which hopefully gets fixed soon). I think this is a great way of attacking both ty

Curious: How does Cloudflare pay for the email routing network bandwidth + hosting charges it incurs for its free services? I ask because it seems Google ran this for a decade and then found out that it is time to charge for it.

Does anyone have any benchmarks with AWS FSX (LustreFS) vs EFS - how do they compare in random/sequential access?

It is fairly easy for a person in industry to go back to academia as a student. If you are serious - talk to a faculty member - and chart out a plan.

Am I reading the paper definition correctly? If yes, why does the vertical line and horizontal line in 2D have so different correlations? def corr(x,y): n = len(x) an_array = np.stack((x, y), axis=-1) sorted_array = an_array

This looks exciting. If anyone knows how to, perhaps they can report how much space this uses in the browser? Some benchmarks? Someday soon I hope we can use this for developing code on the browser to aid with web applications.

Thanks! Seems like short cycles of development including interleaving testing - is the key in this paper. TDD might just achieve this by a fluke, but it should help that - unless you do this TLD or even test addition in cycles. Any thoughts

TDD slide has an error it seems. In slide 18 Fucci2016 is referred for a replication study with 39 professionals. That study only uses students. That slide quotes Fucci2016, but I do not see that quote in the paper. He talks about TDD and h
