I understand what you're saying, but I don't think I'd feel like I lost. Getting the other person to agree to your terms is winning.

I think it's effective because it's polarizing. Any recruiter who likes it will REALLY like it and immediately want to pursue the applicant.

If I'm the seller I would prefer to throw out a number. That way you can simply pad the starting point, coming down in price is much easier than going up.

And do you think $12 converts better than $12.00? It sounds minor but I bet it makes a difference. In my experience we typically do round dollar amounts and drop the ".00", but maybe that helps explain why 9.99 loses to 12. How would 10 vs

I may advise you to think twice about trying to negotiate your raise. If you work at a good company that values your contribution they're going to bump your salary as much as they can reasonably afford, keeping in mind fairness to your coll

I would say the attractiveness of micropayments is it's less of a commitment, but subscriptions are generally better for both sides if what you are providing is valuable to your users. As long as a subscription doesn't make it super difficu

This is a pretty well developed space but I would think there's opportunity in combining analytics and optimization (like the way optimizely combines building and reading a/b tests, http://optimizely.com ). A pure analytics tool will be a

this is a great idea. The video on your home page is very well done. One suggestion would be to play with the copy in your one-line pitch. It doesn't really explain what your product is, the video nailed it though.

Good post. I think the same holds true for the NSXMLParser delegate (and probably many others, I'm still new to iOS). The "foundCharacters" method is sometimes called multiple times before reaching the end of an element so it's best to assu

Cool concept. I like the simplicity of the design but I would try a few more iterations on the logo.

It's an interesting concept, but as an investor I would not want to allocate money without it officially being invested. In other words I'm on the line for a theoretical 200K, but I'm only putting 20K of it to work. The reason I wanted to i
