It's amazing how much this works though. I remember getting a call from my mum saying "the website is telling me London is already 78% booked for these dates!" It felt ridiculous having to say "Mum, it's March. You&

I spent months complaining to them about this laptop. I had an Air for 5 years(!) before this and it was a wonderful machine. For 2k I'd expected a decent machine - but I hate everything about it. Obviously Apple didn't care in th

> Most of these are pure common sense if you are apt with CSS. I see SO many designers/devs that absolutely do not think of these things. The minute the design is being used 'for real' it becomes messy real quick.

The last Intel Air (early 2020) is the worst Mac I've ever owned by an absolute mile. The fan is permanently on - it's like working on a hairdryer.

Well yeah. But at no point did I infer that everything over http was the same as the projects I'm working on. I literally started the comment with: "In the 'real world' of my own little bubble, The average SPA is worse

I mean - if your website is selling a million widgets a year, the marketing team are going to pretty involved (especially if you want to keep selling a million widgets a year)... So getting them involved in the spec is probably pretty prude

Great article. In the 'real world' of my own little bubble, The average SPA is worse than the average MPA seems to come up pretty regularly, particularly in the ecom world. I'm seeing more new sites being built as single pa

I literally cannot find a way to have the app installed and not get pushes 2/3 times a day. This started a few months back - I tweeted them about it and got no response. Painful.

13.5%? Jeez. No wonder so many 'signed' artists have a problem with streaming. And no wonder so many young artists are choosing to self release. We really are getting to a point where labels need to properly prove their worth.

I think we're in a 'perfect storm' of fraud right now. Firstly, 'Reality TV' has become influencer culture. A lot of social media is you being bombarded with "look how great my life is" pictures. The newes

Completely agree, but I think this case is a bit more subtle than that. £250 is a gambler's punt - "I don't understand this, but I can afford to lose £250 to see what happens." When that seems to be going well and people

Agree 100%. It's also about a thousand times easier for people with a very basic HTML understanding to parse (if you open something, with pretty much the exception of an image, you gotta close it). Periodically I have to send code to

Maybe my answer is entirely UK based, but I'm pretty sure if I asked in my circle of non tech friends, I don't think any of them would have a concern about buying anything legal on a credit or debit card. You might not want your
