Non-technical users are going to install prusaslicer. I know, because that's what I did when I bought a prusa without knowing anything. It's the first one mentioned in the user manual.

There is an honor system, you can pay for the fruit or steal it. On youtube or spotify, you are paying in either subscriptions or watching ads to access the content, of which a % goes to the creators. That's the deal the hosts provide

I still don't see the humor here. 1) The overall point is to not let AI use racial bias as a factor in its decision-making. 2) Actually, there are a lot of people whose "race" is vague. My buddy has been asked if he's &l

A better analogy would be taking from an unmanned fruit stand that relies on the honor system. Taking something that was not provided for free, and not paying in return, is theft. It's "sent" with the understanding that you&#

Taking something (content) without paying is theft. It also is theft from the person who made the video you're watching.

So theft is acceptable if the other party does things you don't necessarily agree with. Interesting.

If you watch youtube that much, then just pay for premium. Seems the philosophy here is because adblockers are technologically feasible, you're entitled to use a service for free. Because ads have some issues, blocking them and never c

The problem is these discussions are being had by STEM/tech people who don't respect or value art or the effort behind it, not by artists. They simply do not get the concerns that artists have. It truly boggles the mind that peopl

That's mass-produced furniture. And yes, the original intent/artist meaning of an art piece are extremely important when looking on as a viewer, even if the viewer ends up giving it a different meaning.

You can also do the same thing with human art. There are most certainly local galleries near you, and you can interact with an actual human and the meaning they put into that art. Not to mention the amount of art made by humans that exists

There is meaning in that the artist chose a sunset as the subject of the piece, and they decide the composition and colouring, etc. It's all done with intent. And in pieces with more than 1 element, the various objects -do- have symbol

Contemplating authenticity (and ways that we can reasonably prove it) is a different discussion than wholesale generating ai "art" that has zero intent or meaning.

My feedback: this is artificially generated art, and is meaningless. Why would I spend any amount of time or effort on this when there is art made with intent by humans?

Nice article but this isn't an unhealthy relationship at all. They haven't gone down the rabbit hole of r/mechanicalkeyboards and/or r/ergomechkeyboards, or even built their own keyboard.

Kanboard is featureful, simple to use, and very fast to load. Hosting wekan was a pain and the UX just sucked compared to Kanboard. I highly recommend Kanboard or Gitea’s kanban issue boards if you’re already using that.
